Our
History
Miranda
Auto Body is a full service auto body shop and used car dealer.
Mr. Miranda has thirty years of experience in auto bodywork and
painting. In 1984,
Mr. Miranda as the sole owner opened Miranda Auto Body for
business in West Springfield.
Due to the business’s enormous following and customer
loyalty, Mr. Miranda found the need to expand the operations.
During 1989, he purchased 289 Mill Street in Springfield
which the business has called it’s home since.
Throughout our history, we have earned a great reputation
from a loyal clientele of repeat customers who through word of
mouth advertising have helped us grow.
We attribute our success to our loyal customers and sound
business practices. These
practices are simple; we do quality work at competitive pricing
thus, we honor our commitment to you, our customer.
At
Miranda Auto Body we offer our customers quality service in auto
bodywork and painting by utilizing the most modern techniques
and materials available. We
also have experienced personnel who believe in our work
philosophy. As a
registered auto body shop and a licensed appraiser with the
state of Massachusetts Miranda Auto Body has performed insurance
and accident claims work for over eighteen years.
Today, we perform from small scratch and dent work to
major collision work for passenger and commercial vehicles for
all auto insurance companies licensed in Massachusetts and
Connecticut.

is the owner of Miranda Auto Body?
Ricardo
Miranda an active member in the Western Massachusetts community
for over twenty-eight years.
Friends, customers and business associates describe Mr.
Miranda as an honest loyal friend, family oriented businessman
who is a giver. He is never afraid or reluctant to lend a helping hand.
He has been a strong supporter to many local charitable
organizations in the area more specifically those who focus on
youth issues and programming.
Through his positive attitude and “fun” personality
community people enjoy Mr. Miranda’s presence.
Mr.
Miranda was one of the originating founders of the Western
Massachusetts Hispanic Chamber of Commerce serving on the board
and also as an officer. In
1999, the Western Massachusetts Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
named Mr. Miranda as the “Appreciation Award” recipient due
to his many contributions to the organization and business
community. Mr. Miranda is a licensed appraiser, has 30 years
experience in auto body work and painting, and is a member of
the Massachusetts Auto Body Association (MABA), the Better
Business Bureau since 1984 (BBB), the Greater Springfield
Chamber of Commerce and the Western Massachusetts Hispanic
Chamber of Commerce.
